CBD Health Products and Education!
Our CBD Health and Wellness Expo will present and educate the health and wellness benefits of cannabidiol (CBD) and cannabigerol (CBG) products to healthcare providers, specialists and wellness related businesses that serve and care for seniors!
There is still much to be known and understood on the human Endocannabinoid System (ECS) (endocannabinoid molecules, cannabinoid receptors, and enzymes) and cannabis (phytocannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids) resulting in widespread modern health uses of cannabis indica, cannabis sativa (hemp) and the physiological system responsible for maintaining balance in relation to ourselves and our environment.
"In research published this February in JAMA Internal Medicine, the number of U.S. adults over 65 who reported using cannabis nearly doubled over a three-year period, from 2.4 percent in 2015 to 4.2 percent in 2018 -- an increase of 75 percent. This staggering rise in consumption amongst seniors points to the need for physicians, manufacturers, and the industry as a whole to understand this unique demographic. Fortunately, the future of cannabinoid medicine is bright because their most common ailments are well-treated with hemp and cannabis derivatives something our Keynote Speakers and Faculty know all to well!
